ABOUT

Spotted Dog Treats was named for my spotted English Setters, as Conner was the inspiration to begin selling treats in the first place. I  first started making my own dog training treats when Conner developed stomach issues as a youngster. Knowing what was in my treats gave me peace of mind, and being able to limit the ingredients as much as possible was invaluable in helping his stomach heal. In 2017, I started selling treats to classmates to help offset Conner's veterinary expenses, and the rest is history.

The Spotted Dog logo dog, and the inspiration behind the whole idea. Treats were originally sold to offset the vet bills caused by Conner's various health issues. Despite multiple health challenges, Conner competed in agility, rally, and obedience for 3 years before he had to retire at the age of 6.. He achieved his BN, RN, OJP, and AXP before retiring.

Tucker aspired to be a couch potato, and a treat taster extraordinaire! He humored me for several years by running around the agility ring with me, earning his NAJ, and also earned his BN and RN. Though he continued to  dabble in rally and obedience, and earned his TKA, he  achieved his dream job of couch potato in 2019.

The youngest spotted dog is just getting started, but is already a shining star in dock diving. He has already earned his RN, TKA, and ACT2, as well as his first Novice JWW Q in agility.
